Suing Auto auto insurance?

I had a single vehicle auto accident 4 months ago where my auto auto insurance was demolished. I flew of the highway going 120KM over a cliff and rolled the vehicle over 2 times. I didn't think I had any injuries, other than a few bumps and bruises however now I am having alot of back pain and rib pain. The vehicle was not in my name, I was driving under someone else's auto insurance. I was wondering if I could sue their auto insurance, for medical expenses?

The auto insurance company should cover this at any rate. The auto auto insurance was insured as well as people inside. It has nothing to do with the driver being insured. So you can ask for medical settlement and if they don't want, sue. You are allowed. Its not like you arranged to roll off the cliff did you? Source(s): The Undertaker

No.To the moron below me — you can't 'sue' an auto insurance company for a crash you were responsible for. You can file a claim with them but liability coverage only covers someone or something you HIT with the auto auto insurance. Besides, I thought you guys in Canada had that great socialized medical auto auto insurancee? Source(s): Claims guy 25+ years

Yes you can sue. and don't listen to the person who said no. If the vehicle was insured, it also covers bodily damage. Been there. Source(s): Den

Not if the owner only had liability coverage you can't. Liability only covers damages and injuries to others, not to the owner's vehicle or its occupants.

If it occurred 4 months ago and you're now having back and rib pain, this isn't going to do anything. However, if the owner of the auto auto insurance gave you permission to ride the vehicle, it may be acceptable. Source(s): Driving School

When I go looking for replacement auto auto insurance is a no brainer way to save your money. You can get a simple quote online they often give you lots of quotes. I tell my friends about http://www.LowRateToday.com

I suppose you can sue just about anyone, but why would you even consider suing anyone, let alone an auto insurance company, for injuries that you caused yourself? The auto insurance company didn't cause you to speed and then flip the auto auto insurance. You have no one to blame but yourself. Also, if your friend didn't have first party medical coverages on his policy, you aren't getting a thin dime. Once again – your fault for not having your own coverages, or for not making sure the auto auto insurance was properly insured.
